Christmas Treats for my boy’s class

Posted on 12th December 2011 in Chatter, Food, Hybrid

Ok so let me tell you straight up that my boys go to a private school so the class size is not large at all. There are 12 in my youngest and 9 in my oldest so it was totally easy for me to do this. If I was doing a regular class like at a public then I would not have been able to do this. I did do cake pops for my son’s class when they were in public but I wouldn’t have been able to do the extra goodies! Ok so let me show you what I have been up to lol.

First off Reindeer food! So awesome, I got the recipe on Food Network I think or you can google it and added some beautiful sprinkles that I had and added tags etc and I got these really great gifts!!

The poem is what makes them so special!!

Then I made my cracker gifts! These were so awesome because I could stuff little things in them. I have in them bubbles, and stamps, chocolates and other candy. I think these are so beautiful and make a stunning presentation.I made 20 of these. You can find the template in my store Digital Pink Ink

Added some santa chocolates to finish off the project.

Now on the some crazy rudolf cake pops lol. They are sorta jacked but I think they can get what they are! LOL They have “crazy” eyes LOL

I have wrapped them all up and they look awesome. I am pretty proud of my self :)

3d Cookies with Lettering delights

Posted on 2nd December 2011 in Chatter

I am so motivated by the positive comments yesterday that I purchased the Lettering Delights Sweet Nothings SVG pack and decided to try a 3d cookie!! Ok first off let me tell you a secret about myself. I have only iced cookies twice in my life I think so gooooo easy on me please :) Ok let me get to all the awesome stuff!

Rolled out the dough and floured it like crazy as you can see here. It’s important to have cold dough! I sadly didn’t find the rolling pin of my dreams yet but the guy at Bath Bed and Beyond said the will get those bands in and they are only $2.99 so I will wait until them.

Bake!! Ice and try not to eat. Ok so here are my iced cookies. Please don’t laugh……well ok laugh because I love them :) and I am proud of myself for sure because I got to ice them before my boys ate them!!! I am a head of the game ;)

ok so I have a game I play with my kids when they get home. They are 6 and 8 so it’s still fun. But I hide a ornament in the tree and when they find it they get a little present. Nothing huge I know Santa wouldn’t like that but today they get the owl cookie. We do it once a week until Xmas to keep it fun. So our ornament this year is  Chucky the squirrel the boys named him not me lol.

Wow those colors take you back to the 70's don't they LOL. I didn't have any cute colors.

Eeek you don't want to see any bird parts!

Another awesome day with my cake cutter!!

Edited to add: These cookies are HUGE!! I made them that way but I figure it’s Friday Night the boys will have a blast!! One rolled out dough on the mat per cookie!
